Wear Your Heart On Your Ears
Happy 2020 you guys! I don't know about you, but I love Christmas and New Years. Especially now I'm all grown up, married and have a gorgeous little boy, any time where we can get together with friends and family, eat great food and relax, is my jam. Then comes the summer holidays, which until last week were just lovely and quite uneventful. Monday I ended up in Emergency with agonising back pain. Tuesday night some losers in a stolen car hit our car and two others. Wednesday my son projectile vomited over me, my mum and the leather couch! They say bad luck happens in there's, so hopefully that's it lol! I've also been busy designing and making some new earrings for you guys! Lots of glitter, love hearts, kindness, lightning bolts and retro glamour. Let me know what you think!

The Big Why
Hey guys - first of all, let me introduce myself, I'm Elena Kelly and I'm the creator of Bashful Designs. I've been making and selling things here for about 6 months now, but was of course planning and dreaming for a lot longer! I've had a mixture of creative and administrative roles in my work life, as well as some experience in HR, where my main love was helping others to achieve their career dreams. I've been a stay-at-home parent for 4.5 years now, mother to a beautiful kinder-kid. I absolutely love being a Mum, but found as soon as I started being creative again with my own projects, my life felt complete. I want Bashful Designs to be a bit of a gift-destination. Right now we sell hand-made earrings, brooches, hair accessories and felt cushions. In the future, I'm planning on adding items for babies, hand-made bags (using up-cycled fabrics), and potentially selling items from other artists.
